D-LA

D-lactide is one of the different configurations of lactide.It is formed by dehydration polycondensation of two molecules of D-lactic acid.

Its appearance is white acicular or rod crystal.The melting point is 96~98 ℃,and the specific rotation is 285°~300°.

Its physical properties are basically consistent with L-lactide.It is mainly used to synthesize polyd-lactic acid or other copolymers.
